SìYoga - what's that?
Breathe, move and enjoy...
Hello everybody and thank you for visiting my website.
SìYoga is an Ashtanga Vinyasa Teaching Project I started in March 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic. Especially in this particular time of physical distancing, I believe it is important to work on your body, look deeper inside yourself and reconnect with the universal consciousness. Right now, while the world is full of injustices, while people are fighting against racism and white supremacy, while the climate change is becoming more and more urgent and while the society is exhausted by Covid19 emergency and is wondering how to cope with the socio-economical consequences of it, yoga offers us a solution, an escape, a way to unwind.
Start now to attend my online classes streamed from wherever I am (previously locations: Tuscany fields, Corsica beaches, Berlin parks and rooms) and notice the immediate benefits for your body and mind. Yoga is union. Yoga is love. Yoga is for everybody!
How I became a yoga teacher...
My name is Silvia, I was born and grew up in Italy, moved to Berlin during my business studies and have been based in this vibrant city since 2009.
After 9 years of yoga practice, I decided to take the step and turn my passion into a career. In September 2019 I quit my office job at a high tech company and took off with a backpack on my shoulders and my boyfriend on my side. I first travelled to India to attend the 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teaching Training in Mysore. Upon completion of the training program, I spent another 5 months in South East Asia, living out my other big passion: travelling. During that time, I continued to follow my yoga practice wherever I was, unrolling the yoga mat on Nepalese hills, on the rooftops of Indian and Burmese hostels, or on white beaches of the Philippines, Indonesia and Cambodia. Yoga made me feel free and helped me connect with other open-minded people during this special time of my life.
And that's how yoga became a life-changing gift to me, which I'm grateful to share and teach with passion and commitment day after day.
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
